About this site
This is an independent tool for searching the UK company register and viewing a company’s public details. It is a personal project and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Companies House or any government body.
Where the data comes from
All company, officer and filing information is retrieved live from the Companies House Public Data API. Companies House publishes this information because the law (the Companies Act 2006) requires the registrar to make the register available for public inspection.
Companies House states that it “imposes no rules or requirements on how the information on the public register is used”, so no re-use licence applies. The underlying content is © Crown copyright. Companies House branding and logos are not used here, to avoid implying any official status.
Accuracy
The register reflects what companies have filed — Companies House does not verify most of it. Information can be out of date, incomplete, or wrong. Responses shown here are also briefly cached (about five minutes) to stay within rate limits, so a very recent change at Companies House may not appear immediately. For anything that matters, check the official Find and update company information service. Nothing here is legal, financial, or credit advice.
Personal information
Company officer and PSC (person with significant control) records on the public register include personal data — names, a partial date of birth (month and year), nationality, occupation and a correspondence address. This site displays that data as it is returned by Companies House. It does not store it: each page is built from a live API call and a short-lived cache, and nothing is written to a database.
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies, does not build profiles of individuals, and does not combine the register with other data sources.
If you are an officer and Companies House has removed or protected your details (for example under their address suppression process), that change will flow through here automatically once their API reflects it. If you have a concern about how your information appears on this specific site, contact you@example.com. To change what is on the register itself, you must contact Companies House directly.
